A Favorite Picture

I had BIG plans for today’s post but the basement and consulting work came first. So, I’m sharing one of my favorite photos I took in Iceland. This was taken at the Kerid crater and we visited on the last day of our trip. The crater was not formed by a volcanic eruption but by the collapse of a magma chamber, which sent its molten rock underground to erupt elsewhere. As we walked around, we saw that someone had built a little snowman on the railing of one of the overlooks and it was so adorable I had to snap a picture. So, I hope you enjoy this little guy who is taking in the view of the crater. I like to imagine that he is thinking some deep thoughts.
