Under the Alentejo Sun

We spent the past few days in Melides where we had rented a little house. It was absolutely gorgeous there and we spent lots of time on the beach. I thought I'd share some pictures...

This was the view from the balcony off of our bedroom. I woke up to this every morning which was so very taxing.

We spent one evening at the beach and watched the sunset. The picture doesn't do it justice.

I love this picture. Can anyone photoshop me into a different jacket? I didn't bring a jacket to Portugal with me and I had to borrow this little gem from Luisa's father.

This, my friends, is why I believe in wearing shoes and socks. Shoes are like little helmets for your feet. This owie occurred after a particularly rough game of football on the beach. It was Raquel's fault.

So, now we are back at Luisa's father's house in the north. We'll be here for the weekend and then we head back to Lisbon for our last couple of days. I can't believe how quickly the time has passed.
