“Hi, my name is Vikki.” Those were the first words I wrote on this blog. It was February of 2006 and I had no idea what I was doing and didn’t know that those words marked a new beginning.

I never imagined this blog would help me become the writer I had always wanted to be or that it would bring so many incredible people into my life.

But it did.

Since starting this blog, I have spoken on panels, read my work on stages in New York, Phoenix and Minneapolis and have been published in numerous places online and in print. 

I write about the unexpected things in life that make me think, laugh or — better yet — both.
