Dispatch from Rural Wisconsin #1

We drove up to our friends' cabin this morning and it's absolutely gorgeous here--a light dusting of snow, sunlight through the trees and on the lake.

The kids just went for a walk (with adult supervision) and they are all wearing orange because it's hunting season and we don't want them to be mistaken for deer, though they are so loud I doubt that could happen.

The cabin is quiet now and the question becomes write or nap?
