I am a writer, editor and consultant for writers. My writing has appeared on The Huffington Post, Autostraddle, The Star Tribune, and Brain, Child Magazine among others. I am a frequent speaker at blogging and social media conferences and have taught social media at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. I co-produce Listen To Your Mother Twin Cities, and my writing was published in the book, Listen To Your Mother: What She Said Then, What We’re Saying Now (Putnam 2015).
I will always believe that storytelling matters, that glimpses of lives different than ours - whether they come through images or stories - have the potential to change us by opening the world to us and fostering compassion. We are so much better when we listen to each other.
